ExtensionBids uses simple, public rules so every creator understands how placement is earned.

How ranking works
Approved extensions are ordered by their cumulative verified bid total, highest first. A starting bid is charged through Polar before a new listing goes live. Later bids add to that extension’s total.
Payments and confirmation
A checkout redirect is not proof of payment. Rankings change only after ExtensionBids receives a cryptographically verified order.paid webhook from Polar. The minimum starting bid is $5 and the minimum later bid is $1.
Refunds
Full and partial refunds reduce the associated extension’s ranking total by the refunded amount. Rankings may change after a refund is confirmed.
Listings
Listings must point to a real Chrome Web Store extension and use accurate names, descriptions, links, and logos. Malware, impersonation, deceptive claims, illegal content, and abusive products are prohibited.
Moderation
We may remove or pause listings that violate these rules, create security risk, misuse intellectual property, or manipulate the platform. Payment does not override moderation or guarantee traffic, clicks, installs, or revenue.
